ENTREPRENEUR / CONCEPT CREATOR / BUSINESS ADVISOR
Building ideas into businesses.
Casper Schandorff is a Copenhagen-based entrepreneur, concept developer and business advisor with more than 13 years of experience building independent businesses across fashion, lifestyle, retail and hospitality.
His work combines creative thinking with commercial execution — developing concepts from their earliest ideas into businesses with distinctive identities, physical spaces, customers and communities.
Over the years, Casper has founded, co-founded, developed, operated and sold businesses, gaining direct experience in everything from branding and product development to budgets, purchasing, customer relationships and daily operations.
One of Casper’s greatest strengths lies in creating environments and experiences where people feel welcome, inspired and connected. His approach goes beyond products and traditional retail — bringing together aesthetics, atmosphere, storytelling and a genuine understanding of people.
Over the years, he has built an extensive network across fashion, lifestyle, hospitality and entrepreneurship. Having developed a series of independent businesses largely from the ground up, he combines creative vision with hands-on commercial experience, strong relationships and an instinct for turning ideas into places and concepts that people remember.

Project 4 stands at the centre of Casper’s entrepreneurial journey.
Over a period of ten years, he owned, operated and developed the independent Copenhagen fashion store, building it into a distinctive retail destination with a carefully curated selection of Scandinavian and international fashion, accessories and lifestyle products.
Over the course of a decade, Project 4 grew into an award-winning Copenhagen fashion destination, recognised for its carefully curated selection, distinctive atmosphere and personal approach to retail.
The store was named AOK’s Byens Bedste Kvindemode in both 2015 and 2016, two consecutive years, and attracted international editorial attention, with features in The New York Times, National Geographic, Gwyneth Paltrow’s goop and other international fashion and travel publications.
Throughout the years, Project 4 welcomed and served a diverse clientele, including numerous well-known Danish and international personalities, while maintaining the personal service and individual experience at the heart of the concept.
Ten years of hands-on development shaped Casper’s understanding of what it takes to create and sustain a business — from building a brand and managing operations to adapting, making commercial decisions and developing long-term customer relationships.

Creating brands from the ground up.
Throughout his career, Casper has created and developed a portfolio of businesses and brands across retail, footwear and fashion.
Concept 4 was developed as a Copenhagen lifestyle and concept store, extending his work with curated products and distinctive physical retail environments.
GUMMI was an independent sneaker universe created specifically for women. Casper developed the full concept and operated the business independently, from visual identity and retail design to product selection and commercial operations.
GUMMI received editorial recognition from ELLE Denmark and international fashion publication Hypebae. In 2019, Hypebae selected GUMMI among nine noteworthy women’s sneaker stores in Scandinavia.
SAAL was Casper’s independent footwear brand, founded around 2015. Several thousand pairs of winter boots were sold, giving him practical experience in product development, commercial execution and building a consumer brand.
Moodboard — Sunglasses & Aesthetics was co-founded with Ulrik Foss and Kian Memarzia. The Copenhagen eyewear and accessories concept combined a curated product universe with expressive interiors, distinctive visual identity and customer experience.
Ventil Studio was an independent leatherwear fashion label co-founded with Rakel Mai. The brand developed its own collections and visual campaigns and presented its work during Copenhagen Fashion Week in 2017.
Across these businesses, Casper’s involvement extended from the original concept to the practical execution of making a functioning business.
From retail to hospitality.
In 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Casper founded ØLMAND — Bar & Bottleshop in Copenhagen’s Vesterbro district.
Built from the ground up, ØLMAND combined carefully selected beers from international breweries with a welcoming atmosphere and an informal, neighbourhood-focused experience.
Casper created and developed the concept, managed its commercial direction and day-to-day operations, and sold the business after three and a half years in late 2024.
ØLMAND has since celebrated its fifth anniversary and continues under new ownership.
The project further expanded Casper’s experience of developing ideas into places where people meet, connect and return.
Experience turned into perspective.
Today, Casper combines his background as an entrepreneur with new ventures, investments and strategic advisory for founders and business owners.
Having built businesses from scratch, managed their challenges, developed commercial concepts and experienced the process of selling businesses, he brings practical perspective to strategy, business development, financial prioritisation and growth.
His experience in education has also strengthened his understanding of people, communication, motivation and personal development — perspectives he draws upon in his advisory and sparring work.
Rather than applying ready-made formulas, Casper focuses on understanding the individual business, identifying what matters most and helping people move forward with greater clarity.
His work spans fashion and lifestyle, hospitality and founder-led businesses, alongside growing interests in technology, biotech and new investment opportunities.
What drives the work.
01 — Creativity with commercial purpose.
02 — People, relationships and meaningful experiences.
03 — Ideas that become something real.
From a decade of building Project 4 to creating independent fashion brands, retail experiences and hospitality concepts, Casper’s work has followed a consistent ambition: to develop ideas into businesses that connect people, create value and leave a lasting impression.
Today, that same entrepreneurial mindset shapes his approach to advisory, collaboration and new ventures.
